Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper who is known for his unique style. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April in 1990 to the family of a German and English Scottish family. Both of his parents are missionaries. When he was a young boy his travels, he was often with them. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unable to work in the same year that Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Following that Baker and his father relocated to Denver which was where they stayed in the home of his aunt. Others in the community would bully Baker for being poor. Baker began to listen to rap when he was in the sixth year. Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on 22 April 1990 in Texas in the U.S. With his music, he is well-known for mixing contemporary hip hop and alternative rock. Baker has recorded four mixtapes during between 2007 and 2010, before to joining Bad Boy Records. In late 2011, this Cleveland rapper became a household name as he made the switch from self-releasing his mixtapes into signing with an established label. The popularity of this Cleveland rapper rocketed when the release of his first mixtape late in 2011.
